An Evening with Douglas Brinkley

May 12 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

An Evening with Douglas Brinkley

We are thrilled to announce the start of our Bob Minzesheimer Author Series, which will be kicking off on Wednesday, June 12 with best-selling author Douglas Brinkley! He’ll be discussing his latest book “American Moonshot: John F. Kennedy and the Great Space” with moderator Robert T. Garrett of the Dallas Morning News. Tickets for the event are $30; a copy of “American Moonshot” is included in the ticket price, and a book signing and reception will follow the discussion.

This author series is presented in honor of journalist and USA Today book critic Bob Minzesheimer, who served as president of the library’s Board of Trustees, as well as president of the Friends of the Library, and who spent years volunteering his time to the library. All proceeds from this event will go to the Friends of the Ossining Public Library, in support of future author visits.

More about Douglas Brinkley’s visit, and about Bob Minzesheimer, can be found on our website: https://www.ossininglibrary.org/support-opl/the-bob-minzesheimer-author-series/ We hope you’ll join us for this one-of-a-kind night!
