Shut Up & Write

Join us for (another) hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 7PM on Thursday, April 9th at Sing Sing Kill Brewery. During this Shut Up and Write, there will be an hour of writing, and time to mix and mingle afterward.
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you’ve written or give you unsolicited advice.
Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. (And grab a super tasty draft as well!)
SCHEDULE:
7:00 – SESSION 1: quick intro/get settled
7:25 – timer starts: write for 1 hour.
8:25 – chat / snack / order a drink / leave if you desire
BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.

What Should I Bring?
Whatever you need to be able to write!
Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the occasional conversations by other writers in the space.
Other Important Details:
PARKING: There is metered parking out front (free after 6pm), street parking on the adjacent side streets, and a municipal lot down towards Main Street.
