The group will be facilitated by the Little Bertie County Genealogy Society – A group comprised of Ossining residents whose ancestors migrated from Bertie County, North Carolina post emancipation, looking to discover their roots.

We will invite guest speakers on topics relevant to the success of our research efforts. Topics would include but not limited to: research skills, document/heirloom preservation, documenting family “stories/tales”, examination of documents, how to interpret documents.
