The Value of Neuropsychological Assessment for Students

Being in a learning environment can be extremely frustrating; especially when the student doesn’t understand why they are having such a hard time learning or interacting with peers. Neuropsychological assessments are a great resource for children, teenagers, and young adults. It is important for us to understand how these assessments can help us differentiate between what is a learning disability, ADHD and/or anxiety.  This allows parents, educators, and counselors to understand the student’s needs academically and emotionally so they can provide the best learning environment possible.
